Purpose
The purpose of the funding is to support those affected in self-help measures (exchange, information, participation in the life of the community).
Object
Eligible self-help groups are associations of people with a physical or mental disability or chronic illness and/or their family members at a local level for the purpose of mutual help. In addition to people with physical or mental disabilities or chronic illnesses and/or their family members, members of these self-help groups can also be volunteers who support those affected in the groups. Groups that employ staff in return for payment are not self-help groups within the meaning of these guidelines.

Recipients of funding are local self-help groups of people with physical or mental disabilities or chronic illnesses and/or their family members.
Eligible costs
Hospitality and catering costs, travel costs of the group leader, event costs; discount protection insurance; for details, see the information sheet on eligible expenses
Type and amount
The funding is granted as a subsidy.
The type of funding is project funding.
Funding is provided for a period of 1 year(s).
An annual lump sum of up to EUR 400 is paid for the costs of the group work.
