For holders of a class B78 driver's license, the possibility is opened to waive or remove the automatic transmission restriction. The possibility exists if proof of practical training for driving vehicles with manual transmission of class B is presented.

The regulations on the so-called automatic transmission rule will come into force with effect from 01.04.2021. An application is therefore only possible from 01.04.2021.
