A certificate evaluation is an official document issued by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB).
The certificate evaluation is issued in the form of a certificate. You will receive this certificate in a short version and a long version. It states the level of the German educational qualification to which your foreign qualification is comparable.
It also informs you about the options you have for continuing your studies.
The ZAB only issues a certificate for completed higher education courses.
The certificate assessment is only a comparative classification. It does not replace recognition.
With the ZAB certificate, you can prove to the university that you have a university degree. Ultimately, however, the university decides whether you are admitted to the course.
