The disposal of waste from private households, including problematic substances/pollutants, as well as disposal waste from other areas of origin is the task of the public waste disposal authorities (districts and independent cities).
Problem substances are wastes which, because of their material properties, must not be disposed of together with household waste, as they can endanger health and/or have harmful effects on the environment.
Further regulations on problematic substances/pollutants are laid down in the individual waste disposal statutes and fee statutes.
This includes, among other things, information on waste charges, waste calendars (collection intervals) and existing collection and delivery systems (pollutant mobile, recycling centers).
