If you do not live with your parents during your training, you can apply for a vocational training allowance to cover your living costs.
You can receive financial support for your studies or internship if your parents do not have a higher income or if you have already been employed for a longer period of time without being dependent on your parents. This support is called BAföG.
As a person with disabilities, you may receive educational benefits to help cover your living expenses if you participate in certain educational activities.
You can reduce your BAföG debt by repaying the loan early.
